MY STORY

I'm an experienced, talented and passionate early childhood Edu-Carer with almost a decade working with children in a variety of roles including: Lead Teacher, Teaching Assistant, Nanny, Governess and Camp Counselor. To put it simply, I simply love working with children. It is what I do and always have done best. I have always known that teaching and working with young children is my ultimate calling in life.

I believe the formative years of a persons life are the most important; early childhood education is critical to ensuring healthy, happy, well developed, well rounded and well-adjusted children and, ultimately, adults. 

I blend my hands-on experience with my Bachelors and Masters degree knowledge and am a huge proponent of a gentle, respectful, play-based, child-led emergent curriculum with a focus on the Reggio Emilia approach. I am a caring, hands-on, fun, patient and understanding individual; a responsible and adaptable caregiver, committed to the academic and personal growth of all children I care for.

I graduated in August 2021 with my Masters in Early Childhood Education [Birth - Grade Two] and hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology, with a focus on Child Development and Positive Psychology. I completed my Newborn Care Specialist [Advanced Master] Certification in 2019.
